The Copperwire team were delighted to present two ESG webinar series for the Air and Waste Management Association in October 2023.

The webinars emphasized the collaborative nature of achieving ESG excellence in corporations, highlighting the importance of data sharing across the value chain and ensuring data integrity to drive sustainability performance, meet mandates, and combat greenwashing.

The first part, "Data Collaboration to Meet Goals and Mandates," discussed the critical role of data as the foundation of ESG performance measurement. It covered the necessity for seamless data collaboration across all entities in the value chain, addressing corporate ESG challenges like increasing mandates and frameworks.

The second part, "Data Integrity to Beat Greenwashing," focused on the need for trust in ESG data through verifiability, traceability, and auditability to counter greenwashing. It discussed the importance of improving collaboration and data coverage along the value chain, ensuring data provenance and integrity. The session included discussions on ESG greenwashing, legal perspectives, case studies, and technology solutions.
